Students who finish The Spectrum Chemistry text will have completed a full credit in college-bound, honors-level chemistry or a college-level Chemistry 101. During this course students will learn procedures and habits, and a consciousness related to safety. They will learn attention to detail, good measurement skills, the recording, manipulation, replication, and presentation of data, measuring techniques and methodologies, materials balance, safe disposal practices, and the scientific method. They will also learn the facts, priniciples and vocabulary of chemistry. (This is a two hour class.)
