Folk Art at its best!
This is a continuation of the class Creative Crafts of the World (One) and (Two). We couldn't fit all the neat stuff into two years! There will be no duplicate projects between any CCW classes. This having been said; CCW (One) or (Two) are not prerequisites to take this class. Degree of difficulty will remain the same as our other CCW classes. Adults will love taking this class too!
Learn basic craft skills while exploring the world through an artistic demension. Learn how others around the world use materials and tools at hand to create useful and ornamental objects.
Some projects may include; -impression clay work -Inkle loom -Shaker cheese basket -mosaic -weaving techniques (on and off-loom ) -Italian glass fusion project -Native American Dream Catchers -Toothbrush Rug -Temari Balls (Japan) -Quilling -Crochet -Carolina Snowflake (basketry) -Tlingit Button Blankets
