This class will focus on using books to develop critical thinking, analyze literature, make connections to the world around us and learn about ourselves and others. We will read and discuss books from picture books, poetry, classic novels, fables, short stories, and mythology.
We will generally read 2 books per month. In class projects, short writing assignments and oral presentation will be included during the study of each book.
