In Reader's Theater, kids will enjoy reading scripted stories, based on familiar picture books. This opportunity to read for a FUN purpose -- putting on plays, cultivates the imagination, encourages physical movement and expressive reading, develops confidence and involvement with a group, and improves reading fluency. This requires no memorization or fancy costumes. We will be limited only by our imaginations! We will cycle through plays in 2-3 weeks depending on our numbers. Our "performances" will be in-class.
