We will use the Mapping the World by Heart curriculum, Boarderline card games, Odyssey Talking Globe, view geography videos and play games like geography bingo.
Students will be able to identify bodies of land and water, countries. Be able to deal comfortably with any map, be able to decode map information, be able to use an atlas, understand longitude and latitude, be able to use a globe, use correct names for parts of the Earth, produce from memory a map that shows their understanding of the outlines of all continents, countries, major cities, larger islands, rivers and bodies of water.
