Physical Fitness is important for everyone. God created our bodies and we need to take good care of them. This class is intended to get your home schooler moving! During class we will do: warm ups/movement, calisthenics/exercises/strength building, cooperative learning games/relays, coordination development, sports skill building and more. Emphasis will be on: having a sportsmanship attitude, participation, friendly competition and having fun. The main goal is to encourage a life-long love of physical activity.
Note: During some of the units, students may be asked to bring sports equipment from home if they have them. Ex. jump rope, volleyball, basketball etc. Students should wear comfortable clothes, gym shoes and can also bring a plastic water bottle, with name labeled, to drink during break time.
